I am a well-trained and experienced therapist. I hold an MSc in Counselling Psych and have experience working with clients with a range of presenting issues - such as stress, anxiety, low mood, grief, trauma, life transitions, suicidal ideation, dissociation, shame, relationship issues and anger. I have also worked extensively with clients throughout the UK and with clients who identify as LGBTQ, ex-pats, and digital nomads. I have additional and extensive training in delivering therapy online and via the phone. I engage in regular professional development to keep my skills fresh and learn as much as possible to pass this on to clients.
Mindfulness training: I have had teacher training in Mindfulness-Based Courses with the Centre for Mindfulness at the University of Bangor: MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy). I am also trained and have experience delivering the B Mindfulness in Schools Project.
I attend regular silent group/personal retreats & have a daily mindfulness practice.
